Another bit for my car ordered and on the way.

Steeda short shift bracket from Collins Performance.

£89 inc p&p.

Must admit I am impressed at the number of mods for a car that hasn't left it's warranty period. Does that worry you in the slightest Clive?

Everything I'm doing is fully reversible in very little time.

Thought that would probably be the reason.

Aye, I'm not kicking the hole out of it, just a couple of small tweaks to make it mine but nothing that isn't fully reversible in short order.

Yeah but then short shift shouldn't really affect any warranty lol

Evening all,

Finally got a build date today for my ST-3 from my dealer... 16/10. Still 5 weeks to wait. :(

Anyone any idea how long it takes to build then deliver?

Cheers

I was exceptionally lucky though.

What are the odds of someone cancelling their order for a car in my exact specs?

Their loss is my gain :)

11 weeks since order waiting for a petrol St3.

Due to be built around end of Sept assuming it hasn't been delayed.

Clive got very lucky, lol. Typical wait time for new order STs is 16 weeks.

Have you done any colour matching with bulbs on the car?

I want to change the puddle lights for LEDs but not sure whether I'll need 4000k or 6000k.

I want it to look oem ideally and match the interior LEDs and number plate light.

I changed the reverse bulbs to hybrid led/cree so they are nice and bright but still fill the lens rather than just having the cree by themselves which are a bit too direct.

I changed the cornering bulbs to Osram cool blue intense so they are a lot closer in colour to the Zenons.

Changed all indicator bulbs to Silvatec type.

Haven't changed the puddle lights yet but may do in the coming weeks as the standard ones are very weak and yellow.

Gosh, reading all these changes, makes me feel like I should really get onto the focus and do a bit of tlc, alterations etc. The money side of things is minuscule with most bulbs, it's just time and weather that's a right pain at the moment.
