So I was having breakfast this morning and browsing on motors.co.uk to see if my old car had sold... Looks like it did.

But I found this ad:

post-46157-142969074955_thumb.jpg

That's a picture of MY car in MY parking space at MY old flat. Some garage is using it to sell a car that's a year newer than mine was with half the mileage.

What's all that about?!

You have saved it on a cloud photo hosting service,, with public access to the photos and have not retained copyrite ownership.

Guess you are lucky that its only a car and not anything more personal !

I get that 100%

I just think its disingenuous of the garage. Haha.

I don't know if it would annoy me or if I would take it as a compliment?

Looks fab though

I have the same mate. An eBay seller is using my picture to sell fiesta bumpers. I contacted them but never replied

Don't get me started on eBay sellers using your pics on their listings! :censored: Cheeky :censored:

I have reported many to eBay which resulted in some of the listings being taken down, serves them right

About a year ago a friend send me an add about photography, with a few photographers in the add with their camera's all flashing, one of the guys was my dad, this was very obviouse, asked my dad about it and he had no clue, someone took a photo of him while he was taking a photo of something else, most likely an air show event and editted it into an add for the company, tried to get hold of the company who's add it was but no luck

I'd report that to trading standards as the car they are selling is not the one in the ad unless they make it clear it's a different car it's surely misleading buyers

I logged in on here a few weeks ago and some kid had stolen my avatar and was using it as his own, cheeky git.
