murdock_bassi
Hello All, We have had our 1.4 auto Fusion for nearly 2 years now and I'm finally getting around to replacing the fuse to get the 12v accessory socket (cigarette lighter socket to us old un's) Problem is I cannot locate which fuse it is, I'm assuming its the box behind the glove box but I cannot see a list of which fuse feeds what circuit or any numbers next to the fuses? Am I missing something obvious? I've attached a photo so hopefully someone will circle the right fuse Many Thanks
iantt
Fuse 29, across 6 from the left, 3 up, yellow fuse
Stoney871
Could be either 29 or 51, but as you have no fuse in 51 (no secondary 12v socket anywhere?) it's a safe bet on 29.
murdock_bassi
That's great, where do I get a diagram of the fuse box like that one? p.s that isn't a photo of my fuse box, it was a stock one of google Thanks Guys
Stoney871
Do you not have an owners manual? If you do then there will be a section showing the fuse layout and what each one covers.
murdock_bassi
I do have an owners manual, but it does not show the fuse locations for some strange reason? unless its a quick reference guide I have?
Stoney871
What year is your car? I'll do some digging and see if I can rustle up a PDF manual for you. Failing that your car shares the same fusebox as a MK7 Fiesta so maybe someone will oblige with a scan of the relevant pages from their book. Stoney871
I do believe that the fuse layout chart is located on the rear of the glovebox when dropped forward to access the board.
murdock_bassi
its a 2008 Fusion, next time I'm out in it I will look at the back of the glove box, all the other fords I've had have it embossed on the lid of the fuse box. trust the fusion to be different
