Shorty7589
I really hope someone can help here, I have just bought a 2003 mondeo tdci 130, it requires the injectors codeing, I bought an F Super with formidable v2.03 and I also bought an ELM327 with Forscan, I have tried to use both and the only thing I have been able to do is code number 1 injector, the codes I put into the other 3 don't seem to save only number 1, even though it says programming successful at the end, it's running really lumpy and I'm hopeing once injectors are coded properly it will be fine, any help or advice would be great on this. Thank You Dan.
mintalkin
i presume that you are programming the injectors one at a time and not trying all at once?
Shorty7589
Yeah I have tried every way possible, have you or anyone had any luck on prefaclift tdci with f super or elm327?
mintalkin
cars from 02/2003 can be recoded, another question is are you putting the codes in firing order and not physical order?
Shorty7589
Mines on an 03 plate registered march 2003, I wrote them down in 1,2,3,4 order and is how Ive been entering them, is f super better than the elm327?
mintalkin
stick with the f super as some people are having trouble with the elm, i can not under stand why injector one is going in and not the others, as long as you are entering one at a time and also in firing order they should recode. Shorty7589
Ok and me neither, injector 1 no bother the others don't want to know, could it be a faulty ecu? But it starts no problem and no fault codes or lights etc???
mintalkin
once the injectors are programmed the car can run a little rough at first but after a short run it should settle down,if the ecu was fault i would expect bigger problems.
Shorty7589
That's a relief, there's a lad coming Friday morning to hopefully code the injectors, he's very confident he has the required software so fingers crossed
