Christian_IA
Hi all. My Ford Mondeo 1.8 TDCi hesitates / lacks power at higher rpms. Could it be the fuel- or airfilter ?
MONDEO TXS 2.2
More likely to be fuel filter than air filter, i recommend new fuel filter first & see if there's a diiference.
pauld2411
Is this all of the time or intermittent , do you at any time go into limp mode
Christian_IA
I will try the fuel filter at first.
Christian_IA
It is not consistent, it's only when I accelerate most. When accelerating slowly it's not there, or almost not. It doesn't enter limp mode or like, and no fault lamp come on.
ralph
Hi My 1.8 TDCI is very fussy with fuel... If I put cheaper supermarket diesel in it doesn't seem to run well and can feel hesitant and down on power. I stick to Shell now (with the very occasional treat to Shell V-Power diesel!) and it runs much sweeter!
