hibs72
Hi all thanks for letting me join, I recently bought a 07 Ford Focus c-max 1.6 and last week I had the cat changed as I had a hole in the pipe under the flexy any way the garage said everything went fine with it.I have driven the car and it didn't feel right and the engine management light came on I have had this reset and done over 200 mile where it was fine going straight but sometimes at lights starting off or going to a round about it would be sluggish. I took it back to the garage today after the warning lights coming on again and it has 4 faults coming up P2298 o2 sensor bank 2 out of range during deceleration P0059 heated oxygen sensor heater resistance(bank 2, sensor 1) P0150 heated o2 sensor circuit malfunction P0300 random misfire detected. sensors where all fine before new cat getting fitted any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance
stef123
First thing to check would be for damage to sensor or wiring.
hibs72
Hi Stef123 do you mean check all 4 of the sensors or a specific one sorry.
stef123
Your car will only have 2 sensors, pre cat and post cat. Most likely the problem here is the pre cat sensor.

hibs72
thanks stef123 so do you think they might be the problem as everything was fine apart from a hole under the flexy part of the exhaust before I took it to the garage.
