Seanie280672
I just purchased a new clutch and was wondering if anyone has ever had any experience of this make "Rymec", ive tried googling the company and it pulls up a firm called Tibbetts Group Ltd, supplier to Intertruck / Unipart. www.rymec.co.uk I showed it to my mechanic who is going to fit it for me in a couple of weeks and he said he had never heard of them, he said by all means fit the clutch plates but he recommended purchasing a better known brand of CSC, however, he then removed the CSC from the packaging and said, 2nd thoughts, i'll fit this one, I asked why, and he said he had never seem a build quality like it, its very heavy and made from metal, he said they are usually plastic. So I was just wondering if anyone has ever had any experience of this line at all ??? My clutch hasn't actually gone in the car, but the bearing is getting noisy and on its way out, may as well change the lot whilst the gear box is off. stef123
I think Rymec is just a rebrand name, you will probably find they have bought stock from another manufacturer
