hi all

i own the 2005 titanium 2ltr tdci, the issue im having is 90% of the time when i first start the car theres either no power under the pedal or i will be lucky to get over 20mph, if i turn the engine back off then try to restart it ( normally takes 3 attempts to restart ) then its perfect, but if i was to go any faster than 80-90mph no the motor way again it will lose power , engine light did come on but went back off next day, not had a chance to get it to anywhere to get the error code but thought id ask if anyones had these issues here

sounds like a potentially beggered potentimeter, though with the lack of error codes, I wonder if its an air intake problem?

hi mate thanks for reply, but last night it was plugged into a fault finder which pointed to a boost switch but the fella said he would check the pipes first leading in and around the turbo as maybe a split in a pipe, but going on from that has anyone changed this boost switch which he pointed to the top right of the engine so it looked easy access

Not sure I recall a boost switch, unless it has another name...
