Hi,

Got a problem with my 2008 transit crew cab flatbed not starting, Its been doing on/off for about a year, basically if you turn the key to the start position it will do nothing whatsoever, all the lights stay lit on the dash, you could do this 3 or 4 times then then all of a sudden it would fire up, its slowly been getting worse to point it won't do anything, no matter how many times you try it, I've checked the wiring, starter motor, and few other thing people have said it might be, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if theres a solution.

Regards

Lewis

Have you checked the ign switch?

Sounds like an arial problem but to rule out a bad key, take your key to a good local auto locksmith and have them check the chip is working .

Takes a couple of seconds .We don't charge for this.

When you turn the ign on, the PATS light will be flashing rapidly.

leave the ign on for 1 min then read the code the light is showing you.

The light may blink once, then a gap, then 3 times.this is code 13 ( it could flash 1 and 5, or 2 and 4, or something else).

Let me know what the code is and I can give you an idea what the problem is.
