dotjon
Hi. Have a 2012 Ford CMax 1.6 Active Tdci. Today I arrived at airport with 2 passengers to drop off. Turned ignition off, left key in ignition, got out of car and got a trolley for luggage. 1/2 minutes later came back to car with both passengers out of the car. Boot would not open or any door for that matter. Stranded and passengers struggling to make flight. Had to ring home and get second key to open. It was a journey of 45 minutes.Does anyone know what the problem is.What if there was a child left in the car. I am baffled.

Richard G
Voltage drop. Happens to a lot of fords in the winter. In such a short time and after presumably at least a 45 min drive (motorway speed) just before ?
ponsaloti
I open these a couple of times a month, usually during the cold months. I can only put it down to a voltage drop or spike. Focus and fiesta seem to be the worst for this. Now and again I come across a golf or Peugeot but fords are the top of the list.
Preee
See of you can recreate it do exactly the same. See if it happens again. Could one of the passengers have locked the door.
