Yea I want one but working on the brake upgrade first. Just need to get some 16 or 17" wheels so they'll fit

It's looking very good. I like the mods. :)

How did you sort out the bonnet stone chips?

It was a kit off eBay. But someone before me had tried it but used pepper red rather than raideint red.

Hi All,

I'm new on here and not really a forum person. However, I have a 1998 MK6 Escort GTI that I have owned since 1999.I am only the second owner. I also own a MK2 Focus RS and I'm a member of the RS owners club. Anyway back to what I'm on here for. The GTI has been off the road now for 6 years and has stood on my late mothers drive over that time. She is in need of some major body work and would dearly love to find someone who could take this on a total restoration project. If anyone out there could recommend a top quality restorer then please ley me know.IT has a lot of memories attached it especially taking my late mum out for drives here and there. She was the one who wouldn't let me part with and was always saying get it resorted. She sadly passed away in January this year and so I feel the time is right to do both her and my late mum justice. I appreciate that the restoration cost may exceed its worth but that isn't the propriety here.

Thanks
