For the foglight surrounds you pull the trims above them off and then pull the surrounds off.

Bumper trims are held on with multiple tabs, they can be pulled off but you risk snapping something.

I'd recommend either you get them sprayed in place or remove the bumpers and then you can see what you're doing .

is it easy to remove the front and rear bumpers? will be spraying them myself might try removing the strips but if no joy will mask off and spray them just thought that It would be better if I could remove them so I could still use the car while they dried :)

You could take the bumpers off, unclip the trims from behind the bumper and then refit both bumpers so you can still use the car then just clip your trims back on when all painted and dry.

For removal of the rear bumper you need to undo the rear of the wheel arch liner (some screws there go into the bumper mounting bracket).

There is one nut in each wheel arch, I recommend plenty of WD40 before attempting removal as the bolt hrads are embedded into the brackets and likely to twist and break the plastic.

Netx step is to unclip the fog and reverse bulb holders from the lenses and then undo the two screws holding the base of the bumper via tabs to the car.

Next undo the two bolts revealed when the boot is open and then pull the bottombof the bumper towards you as you unhook the top of the bumper from it's mounts.

It may be easier with two pairs of hands.

I have never done a front bumper but another members here have and will be better to explain this.

ok so I decided to have a go at removing the bump strips, was easier than I thought, took some pics along the way

first was the strip with revers sensors used a screwdriver and piece of plastic (plastic to protect painted bumper) just slid the screwdriver in the gap and levered outwards, once the first clip was out it was easy just go along levering the clips out top and bottom, then unplugged the reverse sensors and off it was, then the bottom piece, on both corners there are 2 rivets, they need drilling out, once this is done using the same method as top strip just use the screwdriver and leaver the clips off, I found the corner ones were the most difficult, but once they were off it was easy, there are also two plastic screws underneath that need removing, then off she came.

the front was as easy first undo the screw on both ends then with the screwdriver just unclip away, fog light surrounds were exactly the same took me about an hour all in will post pics when I start coding them, hope this helps anyone planning on doing this

Here it is - currently badge less, still undecided what colour badges I want. Steering towards black and white.
