Stu9
Well the green slip was the main bit wasn't even there! I went with a neighbour yesterday to see a car when we got there he was proud to tell us a bit about it and what he'd done ect. When I asked to see the paperwork he got it but only had previous mot's and the green bit he then said its been off the red for about years...he was right as I did a check right there and was last taxed in July 2013 What would have happened to the log book, has someone had the old style and just never bothered getting the new one He (neighbour) was tempted to still take it I said don't or you really want leave a deep and let send for the new one and come back for when he gets it Some right bludy chancers out there
Stoney871
Buying without a complete log book is a definite no no. The car could be pinched or on a log book loan. Absolutely right to walk away.
