Zico Posted July 4, 2015 Share Posted July 4, 2015 Had a combo of both sheet/fork lightning in the distance last night, then directly overhead with an explosive crack of a strike in the immediate area, followed by the distant flashing as the storm passed over in less than 5 minutes. Rain came down so intense we had flash flooding and water running through our garage and store room/outbuilding (attached to the house). Took the electrics out as the freezer had an inch of water round it which got into the electrics. Then there was a power cut from about 2am to 4am. Didn't get much sleep last night, ended up mainly sleeping from about 4 when power came back up till nearly 10am, lol. Spent most of today helping to clean out the garage and debris and other "remnants" left behind when drains are overwhelmed. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
