Chips/scuffs On Bumper Help

Hi

I have decided to keep my car for a bit longer so want to fix a little damage to front bumper driver side.

I have damage to the plastic area under the headlight, scuffs and small chips, would chips away be a good bet? I've never used them so don't know what there like.

Also I would like to replace the drivers side headlight unit as inside the unit is a burn smudge as if a bulb has got very hot, it's where the sidelight is so it's not a big deal but if I could get a headlight unit cheap, just not sure where to look?

So can anyone recommend chips away and a place to get a headlight unit for a mk2.5.

Many thanks

Hi Steve

put some pics up of the damage - chips away should be able to sort it out, if not then a bodyshop should but costs will rise!

headlights can be found cheap enough on eBay and they are a doddle to change.

As said throw up some pics!

You could always buy a second hand headlight unit and get it restored by a detailer, generally costs are £25 and turns out like new again!

Hi

Thanks, I will try to get some pics up over the weekend, I was thinking about eBay for the headlight assembly but I will probably buy the wrong headlight knowing me.

Mitch which headlight do you have?

The chrome or black ones?

Im changing to black soon so my chrome will be available soon.

If black then i saw a few on eBay recently
