rdean1986
I own a 2004 Ford Fiesta mk6 which doesn't have remote central locking. When I try to open the drivers door with the key it is starting to take a few attempts before it actually unlocks. Is it the lock barrel or the key? Sometimes it works fine and other times it is a nightmare. Key is fine in the ignition and passenger door (although I haven't checked recently) and the boot. I have to turn the key to the left before I turn it to the right otherwise it won't turn. I've noticed if I pull the key slightly towards me when it's in the lock it then works. Help! jeebowhite
could be both barrel and key. Does the car start alright first time? if so its probably the barrel needs replacing.
