Rear Door Measurements...

Hi guys,

In need of some help.

Someone side swiped a number of cars, one of which was mine, and drove off leaving everyone to pick up the tab for their own car

Not happy.

Anyway, as i'm looking to reduce costs as much as possible, i am looking at sourcing the replacement parts of eBay in the same colour of my car, Ford Focus 2006, and i have Found all but the passenger rear door.

Are the rear doors of the focus estate exactly the same size as the hatchback version? I'm having trouble finding the info online and As much as i would like to assume they are, i thought i'd better ask

thanks

I've just sourced a new bumper, door and tailgate for my Focus. I used three sites that pass on your requests to scrap yards - I found a much wider range of parts than were available on eBay.

www.1stchoice.co.uk

www.partsgateway.co.uk

www.breakeryard.com

Just enter your details and what you need and you'll be contacted by places with the parts available.

Opt out of receiving text messages as they charge for these services and you receive exactly the same offerings by email for free.

Quick update

Got a number of replies from breakers who have the part and in the colour i wanted. One who was several minutes away by car, went to check it out and the colour is slightly off...

The price is good and everything but the colour wasn't as shiny...

I am worried now that if i order the part from one of the other breakers and it doesn't match, it's going to be a pain in my backside.

I'm thinking of buying the local one and then get a body shop to blend it in, anyone have any idea How much that will that costs me?

Anyone have any advice?
