We have an R reg Escort diesel van with a knackered engine, and we have the chance of an engine out of a p reg mondeo (Turbo diesel)
Will this engine swap into the escort without modifications ?
Is the turbo diesel engine in the mondeo non electronic ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Not sure on the pump being electric or not cause i know they made both. All the mounts on the engine are the same so no problem there. I done this conversion but you will have to splice in the ignition wire to get it to turn on the key as mine never did. I just ran a seperate engine start switch.
