I've heard about it but not 100% sure what it is

Carplay takes your phone and puts it in to voice,

It will read out text messages and emails to you while you drive,

It will ask if you want to respond,

It will put your voice in to text,

Read it back to you

Then ask if you want to send it,

You can ask it for directions,

Sports updates,

News headlines,

Weater updates,

Traffic updates,

Call a number

Anything you can think of at the press of one button.

lol starlet had a spare wheel, would have had to lift out the 15" and 6.5" subs to get it out though,

Had to custom raise the 6x9's in parcel shelf to get it all to close correctly lol was a ported sub so very loud base couldnt drive at full belt lmao magic tree used to stick to the windscreen.

Surprised you didn't ask that about my boot ;)

You have the same car so your images would be more welcome mate

I've been smart... The power & signal wire to the amp are connected using "Vibe FastPlug". The cable from the amp to the sub enclosure has a connected as pictured below.

So that's everything unplugged.

Then, the piece of the false floor simply lifts out (held together via simple clips that are more like slots. Slot in slot out vertically.

This allows the sub enclosure to become free. Simply lift out.

Pull out the final piece of the floor and you're at the spare wheel.

I'll soon be ditching the spare wheel to put my air tank, compressor & solenoids in the wheel well ready for air suspension.. hoping to be up to show standard for Ford fair 2016 ;)

Save weight i have the foam pad from a mk1 focus RS in there to fill the gap,

I carry a can of foam and AA Roadside assistance.

Here you can sort of see the glint from the clip I was talking about. I cleaned the car shortly after taking ;). Machine polished my rear lights too. Took all the horrid swirls and scratches out. Then treated them to some Gtechniq c4

Pretty cool idea! Was actually thinking about doing a boot build! I'd like to keep the spare wheel just incase anything goes wrong but I'd have to plan it out! What's the false floor made out off??

The false floor is made of MDF, a few bits of timber & "acoustic" carpet :)

Was thinking about that! Instead of having that silly carpet thing use wood or something as my carpet isnt the best! Cut a hatch in the wood and for the wheel and have everything on top! It's a good job I work at homebase ;) discount may finally come into some use

I'm probably going to end up making another false floor to encorperate the air... Maybe treat it to some alcantara.. spend some time on it instead of rushing

Trace the boot floor carpet ;) then extend it in the middle by about 2cm so its nice and tight once all in

Not a bad idea actually! I'll figure out something was thinking cut wood to fit it perfect! Have a hatch big enough for the wheel to go in and out on hinges with a little hold bit so it don't come loose! Then have carpet on top of it stuck down and try something from there! I really dunno how it would work! More of my dad's strong point than mine to be honest! Is it on your build?? If so what page??

Get yourself a load of large cardboard sheets from work,

A black marker, stanley blade and some gaffer tape,

Build the whole thing out of cardboard then use the cardboard sections as templates for the mdf

9mm mdf is pretty solid,

Paint it and allow it to dry for 24hrs prior to spraying on glue and applying the carpet

The paint surface helps the glue to bond, otherwise glue just soaks in to the mdf and doesnt stick the carpet,

The carpet covers up any imperfections,

You may also like a boot door tow strap:
