mills705
All sorted- much better! Bumper also is a good fit now. It was overlapping next to the petrol cap. Which is awkward to fill up using I found out this morning! haha
Colin1969
Here's pics of mudflaps can't really notice they even on Very nice , i wouldn't mind a pair of mud flaps , but i have a 5 door with the bodykit ( dress up kit ) fitted from factory , and not sure if the flaps would fit. Any ideas on this ?
mikeyd1
Yeh they don't fit if u have the body kit but to be honist most of the sill and arches are protected by the side skirts. Or u can fit rally armer mud flaps but I haven't got a clue how to fit them but there is a vid on youtube fitting mudflaps to fiesta st

mills705
found a quirk of the fiesta last night... you put the heater onto just windscreen and the AC comes on? Is this normal?
MONDEO TXS 2.2
Yes it's normal
MONDEO TXS 2.2
It's the airflow direction to the windscreen selection as the a/c on demists the windscreen quicker :)
mills705
I know that the air con helps. I thought it was an electrical problem at first! The fiesta keeps impressing me with features- very happy with the car. Although I just saw a faint scratch on it on the wing. thankfully it looks like it will polish out! I think the moondust silver must show scrathches easily
mills705
Had my car now for roughly 1 month. First impressions are amazing. Lovely to drive- response and I like the steering. I was worried initially at the MPG- However I filled up well over 2 weeks ago now and just down to a quarter. My avg MPG is roughly 49.5 MPG which is about 15mpg higher than my punto so that is a bonus. Mods completed: Mud flaps Dipped beam headligh To do Main beam Sidelights De tango the indicators Get myself an arm rest After that I think I will be done apart from maybe the LED Bulbs for reg plate as that does look good. mikeyd1
Hey callum how did u find fitting the mudflaps?
mills705
They were okay tbh- Only trouble was getting the small clip at the bottom to fit back in as its obviously not really designed to be removed and re attached! Apart from that they were a doddle once you got the picture in your head correct
