Mk2 Focus - Reset Electric Power Steering Module?

I don't think its a setting that can be downloaded, just needs to be calibrated so that you get more assistance at low speeds. Have you tried ELMC' on it yet? If you look under the EHPAS procedure tab there may be a reset procedure in there?

I'm just thinking out loud really as it's not something I've done or looked into, just what I'd be doing if it was my car.

Thanks for the tips.. The car is still at the garage having the work done so I won't actually have the car to check until this evening/tomorrow.

What you're saying could be true... The bloke at the garage wasn't too sure about this specific model and that why we agreed to leave the reprogramming out for now incase it wasn't needed or i could do it myself.. Hopefully what you're saying is right though and it can learn itself.

When I get it back i'll have a better idea on whats going on so will update you :)

Liam

Hi did the car learn its self or did it need Ford Dealer intervention ?

I have the same issue myself after having a new pump.

The part with the plug is a fuel temp sensor and comes as part of the pipework assembly linked above.  I still can't see the actual break to determine whether it can be repaired or whether it'll need to be replaced.

I ordered the pipe assembly for £50. I will be more careful in future.

Thanks for your help in putting me to the direction of what I needed.
