jmurray01
It is a common thing in vehicle sale listings to say why you are selling (although it is completely redundant as nobody gives a s***). Normally it is "expanding family", "newer vehicle" or "don't need 2nd car anymore" - but I have to say this is a first for me to read: https://www.gumtree.com/p/vauxhall/astra/1131696185 Of course, the main problem with that ad is the brand of vehicle, but the fact the seller states "losing license" as a reason for sale just takes the biscuit. I don't know about you, but if I were him (or her) I'd be hiding that fact!! You only lose your license for either repeatedly being pulled for dangerous driving (speeding etc...) or for drink driving, both of which would seriously lower my opinion of a person and would NOT make me want to buy a car from him/her. As I say, maybe it is just me... This person will get their punishment though, as apparently they drive 80 miles a day for work so I'd like to see them do that without a Driving Licence. What's that word... Oh yeah, karma.

jmurray01
different could be illness If it were illness then it is seriously worrying that they admit to continuing to drive 80 miles per day... Plus surely then you'd word it as "selling as no longer able to drive". Could be though, wouldn't surprise me.
jeebowhite
so he admits he is selling due to losing his license (though he should learn how to spell lisence isn't strictly correct), yet the mileage will increase 40 miles per day as he drives to work.... hmmm.... must admit, if I had a vauxhall to sell my ad would start "selling due to an exponential increase in common sense"
