You always could get the cover already painted but mush more costly

Paint color can fade over time though, so an off-the-shelf can may not be a perfect match. Best option is to get a can from a paint specialist who will make the exact shade for you. Last time I did this it cost about £8 for a 400ml can. Funnily enough, it was for my State Blue Ford Escort.
rickyp
your ford dealer will be able to tell you the exact name of the colour on your car by checking the chassis number.
whoareyou
Thanks all, ill head down to the 'dealer' today
SierraYankee99
A new mirror back costs around £12 from Ford then painting. Get the paint made up at somewhere like Autopaint (if they still exist) and you'll get a perfect match.
whoareyou
Hi, I ended up getting a mirror case from the ford dealer, in a 'prima' colour. I put it straight on to protect the inside from the weather and have now got some spray paint. However i cant get the !Removed! thing off now! The whole back casing comes away and i can see 3 small clips at top and bottom inside, but can get them pushed away Any ideas? Cheers
