Appreciate this is an old post but thought I would add my issue now fixed as it may help others. My car - Mondeo 2014 Titanium X had a random headlights on and wipers juddering whilst parked up flattening the battery. Fault seemed to fix itself with recharging the battery and disconnecting it etc but later I realised the brake lights were no longer functioning. Fault traced to BCM no longer supplying voltage to the switch. I put in a bypass wire to the switch feeding 12 volts and the original symptoms re-occurred. Faulty BCM suspected and one sourced via eBay. On plugging it in before flash brake lights now working but some options on my car not functioning (front fogs, auto lights and foldable mirrors). After re flash these options now working and all is good. I hope this post helps anybody else unfortunate to have had a BCM fault
