Phil 87
I'm tempted by these mist washers, seen them on a Golf which had them as standard and they were great. Are they adjustable like the standard ones or does the mist spray over the whole windscreen? And how do the heated ones work, are there some cables to wire up in the engine bay, and are they set up to come on with the heated screen or with a separate button? GingerFlame
They're not adjustable. It covers the whole screen. Heated ones work with the heated windscreen switch I think. The wiring needs to be present & they need enabling
MONDEO TXS 2.2
I have these on the TXS - they are very effective & the heated function works very well in the winter

TitaniumWhite
I have the Quickclear windscreen, so is it possible to put heated washers onto the car?
GingerFlame
I have the Quickclear windscreen, so is it possible to put heated washers onto the car?Depends if the wiring is present/able to be added. It'll then need to be enabled assuming the relevant fuses & relays are present, I believe Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
Willy
I looked into it and it's not an easy job without cutting wires etc. The fiesta doesn't come with heated washers so there's no bits on the loom. Basically you take the loom from the focus.
TitaniumWhite
Sounds complicated and expensive. You'd think the Titanium would have had them as standard, considering the cost of it. ^_^
Phil 87
To be honest I can't remember ever needing to use the washers and finding they were frozen. If the washers are frozen then your windscreen is probably covered in ice too, which means you'll be using the heated screen and the wipers. Then by the time you really need to clean the screen the washers will have been warmed up by the engine.

666Damian666
Pop them off with a tool from above the bonnet or from underneath (if that makes sense)
Philf1
As said really easy, just pull the insulation back under the bonnet and push them through, disconnect the pipes and then reverse order to fit the new ones.

Paramanic
I had mist jets but sprayed over roof used a dab of super glue to make it spray down but glue never set at all........ But for the wiring of the heated ones you guys are making it so complex why not just add it onto Ur heated wingmirrors ? Would work when u turn on heated windscreen
