monfor
The rattle of the famous swirl flaps destroyed the axle holes in the intake manifold. In the past week the axle cap near the first cylinder fell out, so the leak explained the suddenly increased rpm that did not change much with the disconnecting of the IACV. I exchanged the intake manifold and... the speed remained almost the same.DTC "P1504 - Intake Air Control Circuit Malfunction", but the idle controller works probably normal, only the ECU keeps it open. Actually, a regulation takes place - after the start is the idle speed is 4400, in a few seconds drops to 3,500, and at cooling water temperature above 50°C – to 2200. With the removing of the IACV plug the engine stalls immediately, so the valve closes and the intake manifold is airtight enough. I have nevertheless exchanged the IACV - no difference. No other error messages are issued, the throttle position sensor seems to be OK. Over the OBD2 the flap angle is moving smooth between 16-97%. Removing of the plug doesn't change anything.I would be very grateful for any advice.
