Suspension/steering Noise On Right Hand Turns

Some time ago I replaced the left hand outer transmission seal on my (left hand drive) Ford Fusion. This included taking the left hand drive shaft out.

Seemingly ever since I've had a SINGLE knock on only tight (90 degree) right hand turns. I can only hear the noise while driving and the loudness varies. I cannot replicate it by moving the wheel/suspension parts by hand. Once again, it's only a single knock each time.

Is it possible I over-extended the drive shaft when taking it off or re-installing? the LHD drive shaft has a little more horisontal back and forth movement than the RHD side.

Thanks
