Interior Lights

Hi all, I have a quick question. On my 2013 Ford Fiesta Zetec I have changed all the interior lights from standard yellow to white led's and I'm curious as to whether I can get the two map reading lights to come on when I open the doors like the courtesy and footwell lights. Thanks!

No guides as not many people want to do it.

Run wires from the bulb holder/bulb holder feed. Break the circuit feeding the map lights (use a dremel or similar). Then attach the feeds you took to the connectors leading to the map lights.

The reason I'd take it from the bulb holder is because I've wired my footwell lights that way. they way they come on whenever I use the interior light

On the back of the light unit there is a small bayonet connector.

Attach a wire there, run it down the driver side A pillar and use a scotchlock to attach the wire to the wire on pin 16 at the rear of the light control switch.

If you check out my guides link (under my posts when viewed on a PC) you'll see a guide for swapping light switches, that should help you somewhat.

If you need any more assistance on this just give me a shout.
