Ford Warrenty - Alloys

When i change my alloys to 17 from 15 inch will my warrenty be affected? Its a 15 plate. I tried calling ford to ask but shut today, also do i need to notify insurance???

Yes, You do need to notify your insurance as this is classed as a 'modification' to your car. Some insurance co's will not charge you, others will.

Also you need to consider what make the alloys are, so if you're fitting genuine ford alloys that shouldn't affect the warranty but you would need to check with ford, whereas an aftermarket brand may, as ford could say 'they where not fitted as standard equipment'.
