Juicehead99
Hey guys I'm thinking about smoothing boot on my mk6. Anyone got any pictures of there's so can see how it looks and get few ideas on which way to do it? Thanks
GingerFlame
Smoothing as in what? Plate recess? (Pointless) Ford badge? Requires cutting the boot up Lock? Go ahead.. ruins the look of the boot
Juicehead99
Found this. Looks nice. Ford badge would need to come off and grinding down to flat to fit rest of boot, But I can't find picture with reg plate recess filled and smoothed so not sure about that yet

WES180
Take a photo of the back of your car from directly behind it and someone will be able to photoshop it for you. You can do it yourself albeit not as good on Windows Paint on the laptop. You can copy and paste sections of the car paint to cover the recess. I did it on here to show a car debadged and you couldnt tell it wasnt a proper Photoshop job.

WES180
Very crude attempt on Windows Paint. Its hard with it being silver and having reflections in the paint but you get the idea!
Juicehead99
Wow! Well impressed with that! Thankyou for your time in sitting down and doing that. I do like it but unsure about reg position which is what you said previously

Juicehead99
Yes! How did you do wiper removal without breaking the black line? Lol that's amazing!
WES180
Good old copy and paste with a rotation of the image. Copied left side and flipped it over to paste on the right. Same thing with the exhaust only the other way around. :) Its nowhere near Photoshop quality but it gives you an idea how it could look.

WES180
Its a basic programme but can be good. Ive used it to see what an extension would look like on my house too, sad eh!
