So,Let's talk Engine coolant and to be more specific,which is needed for the following model: Ford Focus Lx TDCI 1.8 Diesel Hatch Mk2 2006 55Plate No idea as this as said in a previous post,is my first Car,don't want to mess it up,Already fixed a few issues with success so would like to keep that Egg Train Rolling. (Yes Egg Train is my phrase haha,Deal with it :) No but seriously,would love your opinions on this,thanks in advance guys. stef123 Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 It needs to be an OAT type coolant, usualy a pink or purple colour. can sometimes look a bit orange than pink. MONDEO TXS 2.2 Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 Blanking the EGRV is inserting a purpose made steel plate between the EGRV & it's inlet pipe that connects to the exhaust, the purpose of blanking the EGRV is prevent inert spent exhaust gases congealing into carbonised crud that gunks up the EGRV & the inlet manifold, which is an engine killer Blanking plates are available from e-bay sellers for around £5 It's the cheapest kindest thing you can do for your engine. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
