sanfico
Hi, I'm having a recurring problem with my 2007 2.0 TDi Galaxy. I could be driving along especially motorway driving and suddenly the "engine malfunction" warning message comes up with the esc light on amber, the TURBO cuts out and i need to stop my car, restart the engine and it all goes back to normal. ON a 30 minute journey it could be doing this 3-4 times. Any ideas? I'm just worried that the turbo is going and it will cost a lot to fix. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
jeebowhite
to be honest, there isn't a great deal to go on. You really need to read the error codes and see where its pointing, but that to me sounds like a bad sensor. Click "My guides" in my signature, and have a look at the thread "got an error on your car", I would suggest FORSCAN and a modified ELM327 cable for the best chance of diagnosis. gregers
you can check the on board diagnostic to see if any codes have been stored.not as good as the info above but may give you an idea? similar thing on my smax, think it was a wheel sensor?? with mine it used to come up if it was wet,had some new tyres put on and it hasnt come back as of yet. so maybe they disturbed something around that area??.

Is it a fuel problem? I have always filled up with supermarket diesel. The car is regularly serviced and has down just over 100k. Any help would be appreciated.
