squiggley1972
Hi I have a 2006 ford fiesta and recently had the front discs and pads replaced due to warping. All was well except my brake pedal now make a light clunk when press it in and a clunk when i depress it.it sounds like it is coming from under the car could it be fouling or something. I took it back to Halfords who did the brakes and they have checked all the parts and ball joints and nothing is loose. Does anyone have the slightest idea what this may be.The performance of the brakes is unaffected but it is very annoying and Halfirds didnt seem to know what else to suggest except come back if it continues. GingerFlame
Personally I'd leave Halfords autocentres untouched. Find a good local indie garage. They'll be more honest & reasonably priced. The brake pedal will make quite a clunk/click as the brake light switch operates, if you upload a video of the sound to YouTube and share it here we can give you a better idea of what it is
