Hi can anyone help,

I've got a ford focus 2005 reg and I can't get the passenger doors to open with the fob or key in lock , I've found that the only way I can open the other doors is by having the drivers door open and pressing the lock button on fob , and only then will the other doors open .

Also the passenger door wont open from inside has to be as described from above before can open

Fob locks fine though and does open the boot , recently changed battery as thought it might be that and checked the fusses no problems there either

Help anyone please

To clarify is the issue that the drivers door only opens with the key fob. And the other doors remain locked?

drivers door opens with key fob and others remain locked, until the drivers door is physically open and then the lock button on fob pressed and only then the other doors will unlock

I'm sure that is just they way it's programmed. You need to press the unlock button and lock button together until the lights flash. I'm not 100% sure that's the procedure but that allows all doors to unlock with a single press on the fob.

What you want to do is VERY simple. Just hold down the lock and unlock button on your remote until the horn beeps and the lights flash. Then it will unlock with just one press of the button, if you do it again, you'll be back to 1 press unlocks the driver's door, and 2 presses unlocks all the doors.
