laumk7
All ordered yesterday, used the local car hi fi shop in the end. Alpine dealers and the cheapest at 320 for the sub and fittings. We run through what they'd do to fit it and trialled a similar large sub in my boot to ensure I was happy with the space. All gets fitted the day after my birthday, I'm so excited!
MPX309
What about this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/KICKER-40TCWRT104-Compact-Enclosed-Subwoofer/dp/B00BUVRLBO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1447019313&sr=8-3&keywords=kicker+subwoofer
tazzman600
Slimline subwoofers do have a place But they do fall short of a 'proper' boxed sub. After speaking with 3 guys each of which have built championship winning cars stated quite emphatically they're not up to the job. What laumk7 has ordered is going to blow her socks off and her fellas too if he's in the car too. Boombastick.

laumk7
Excellent and a belated happy birthday to you. Punp up da bass boom boom boom. I suggest download BBC iplayer radio and get the program Friction and that goes to all sub owners.Thank you so very much xbut it's not technically my birthday until Friday, this was an early present as I'm rubbish at waiting for anything. so although it was booked for the day after my birthday, I brought the booking forward , and the hifi shop brought the booking forward even further :d I haven't been on iplayer yet but I've had a brilliant day of playing loud rock and metal and rattling all my panels :d ********* Tbh I'm happy with the price charged as there's a waiting list for this shop, my booking was only brought forward due to a cancellation and my impatience. They also came out cheapest for the sub work and fittings, not by much marginahainst other indies but if compared to ford carrying out the job a hell of a margin. I know a diy fitting would be about 80% cheaper but I wanted the job done properly compared to my own bodging capabilities
tazzman600
Ahhh a typical impatient woman rofl but since you're into METAL (it rules) then I'll let you off lol. I now suggest instead to get the PC Radio app and find Braingell Radio (the best MF rock station in the universe ) Mega happy listening and keeping neighbours on their toes and a Happy Birthday for friday (jeez that's one day before the wife's)
