I have a 2004 mondeo st220 estate and my drivers headlight went about a week or so ago and the passenger one went tonight. Can anyone tell me if there is a test that I can do to see whether it's the ballasts gone or what before I go spending the money on new headlights with ballasts and igniters. Any help will be great? Maybe a silly idea.. but would it be cheaper to fit an aftermarket HID Kit than to replace the OEM ballasts & ignitors (aren't they built into one unit?) ?
