Changing Indicator/wiper Stalk?

Hi everyone

I am having faulty wipers on my 2009 Fiesta 1.4, so I am thinking about changing the wiper stalk to see if it works.

However, I can't find any guide online on how to get access to the stalks (googled for some times already).

Any help will be appreciated, cheers

if you want to remove the wiper stalk, just pull upwards on the steering column upper shroud, remove that, then you will see 2 screws retaining the lower shroud, turn the steering wheel to an 45 degree angle so you can get screwdriver to them, thers also another screw underneath.

so both steering column cowls are now off revealing the wiper and indicator stalks

unplug the wiper stalk electrical connector from below. then theres a locking clip on top of stalk, lever it out the way while pulling stalk upwards.

will make sence when you see what im describing.

Just one more question..

The intermittent speed of wiper started to malfunction a month after i got this fiesta from 2nd hand..

When intermittent speed is selected, it acts like it will not stop until a click sound from the relay on any position it preferred!! Really annoying

Is the relay builtin the wiper motor or sth?
