Hi

Well iam settling in well with my new Focus ST3 :-)

Except when in traffic or when coming to a stop the fuel in the tank is quite loud when sloshing around

I did not notice this on my 2013 focus (last week)

Had a similar issue on my mates volvo it was his exhaust rubbing against some metal tighten up some of the brackets should be okay. If not then perhaps it's trapped water? try your spare wheel base in the boot for water

Stop using the brake pedal in binary...there is more than just on or off with it. :D

But seriously, I get the same coming to a quick stop with a fairly full tank in any car tbh. Is the tank maybe further forward in the newer Focus for better weight distribution so you notice it more?

I only tend to hear the fuel sloshing when manoeuvring in and out of our drive.

Not really noticed it on the ST though, usually focused on the lovely exhaust noise :D

Might be because the tank is bigger on the 2.0 TDCi and 2.0 Ecoboost ST (60 and 62L respectfully vs the 55L on other engines).

Oh and you need to update your profile!
