Battery Negative Terminal Location Help

hi

i changed the gearbox in my 2006 1.8tdci focus the other day

i took the battery negative terminal off and forgot the label it and now i cant find out where it goes

i know it goes to the battery

hope you guys can help me

Does it not go on the side of the strut tower part to the right as you look at it? Sorry I can't think of the actual name lol.

there should be marking on the battery which are - and +

it the red cable to the + and the other to the -

The smaller length of cable goes to strut top and the longer cable goes to starter motor top bolt

Strut tower on pass side is where its connected to on all fords

To the starter mounting bolt not the starter, its giving earth to engine.

i did check an 08 plate 1.8tdci earlier for you to see where exactly it went, was to dark to photograph the position, but did follow it down to the bolt head

the cable follows the battery positive cable as you can see in this image, then to the bolt .
