Hi there posted in new members and have just bought a 1.5t estate titanium.

have had a search and browse and bar one topic about the turbo sounding like a bag of nuts cant find much about the 1.5 turbo or estates having issues.

Was just wondering what people think of these either the 1.5t or estate or both together.

Think the 1.5t(150bhp) might feel underpowered for me coming from a MK2 ST running 300bhp but a map can sort this out with approx 197bhp...

so are there any common problems with the mk3.5 in general or models at all?

Not really any problems with the estate that I know of and the 1.5 is too new to have many known problems other than the one you know about.

Thanks for the reply emailed mountune as well asking if the 1.6 kit they do can go on the 1.5.

Just looking for induction kit to get a bit more of a roar from engine if they cant do the kit.

It can't. I asked the same. They said they aren't doing an upgrade for the 1.5 focus :(

IC is water cooled and integrated so can't be changed like the 1.6.

Maybe they will look at it again if the engine goes into the fiesta ST
