ian1gail
I am looking to replace the rear discs on my 1.8 tdci. Are Delphi any good? I really want oe quality but the dealers price is £104! Any recomendations?
GMX
They can be, but they are used extensively in GM/Vauxhall vehicles. I've previously used Delphi without any problems on a variety of vehicles. I would be intrigued to know which dealer quoted £104 for oe: I'm looking to replace mine in the not to distant future and have been quoted £136 + VAT
ian1gail
It was Formby Ford. I guess that was the trade price. Still to much though. I like to use original parts but costs are important as well. When I fitted new front discs, they were from Paynes (on ebay) a Ford dealer and were stamped with Delphi. They have been good so far. 20k miles.
kingsblue
Delphi are a very good make, so is Pagid, which are usually on offer from Euro car parts.
Michael9
I just put mintex on the front of mine and will probably get them for back too.
ian1gail
Discs arrived today. All looks good. They are stamped Delphi on the outside edge with the min/ max thickness spec. Will fit at the weekend if it drys up.
