Hi All first post so bear with me ...

I have a Mondeo 2.0 TCDI with 130k on the clock

Couple of weeks ago I had the chugging/ black smoke issue/ loss of MPG

changed the turbo pipe to silcone one then crank sensor went on Gloucester bypass got towed home and have changed the sensor as well (I did have split in old turbo pipe now no smoke)

I have cleaned out EGR and DPF with cleaners also changed fuel filter, air filter and oil filter

Today I took the m5 as my commute is 150 daily at least 100 m5 bound, as I came on to motorway glow plug light came on loss of power. Stopped started the car within 1 min all fine got to services and again came on. Left it 5 mins and started again went up to jct 4 back round with 6 mile to jct 2 which I did comfortably with cruise on at 70mph mpg was 55 which is what I was getting. No missing or running rough.

I wonder if i have some crap clogging injectors as I have done egr with Wynns and DPF which I got off eBay.

obvious fuel problem am I missing something?? Which is the best diagnostic tool

Have you cleaned out inlet manifold or blanked off egr valve.

I havent done either of those yet? Its my first ford for a while as I had a Xr2i years ago which was magnificent

Is it worth investing in diagnostics first or should I clean the inlet and then come back to the diagnostics later? Which diagnostics are the best ones
