Mondeo Issues, Recently Started, Related?

Hi guys, I have lurked about on the forums for a while (silent mind you!), but couldn't reset my old profile so had to make a new one...

Anyway looking to see if anyone has any advice on these issues..

Recently on starting the mondeo it cuts out on me after starting if I do not keep my foot on the accelerator for a short 20/30 seconds after starting. It's almost as if I need to give it some juice. Following this the speedometer also raises and drops on turning on, I have only ever noticed this to happen following the starting issue. Is it possible this could be a dodge you battery? Although it was only changed about this time last year..

Also. I have recently had my ABS light come on, although it disappeared for a while but then returned with my brake light indicator aswell! I managed to get rid of the brake light indicator by restarting the car. This is also coupled with me noticing at low speeds that their is a slight kick back on the brake pedal sometimes when braking. This although only occurs at low speeds and is not on every period of braking. Could this be caused by needing new brake discs? As I am aware that I currently am just about due some new ones in the coming month or so.

I'm hoping someone else has experienced the same issues and could hopefully point me in the right direction to start looking for the faults!.
