Want To Increase The Performance Of 1.4 Fiesta Mk7?

So I have a 2012 1.4 petrol fiesta and I want to increase the performance. I don't mind spending a decent bit of money if it's going to make the car faster. Is it worth keeping this car and upgrading it or simply waiting a year or so and getting a fiesta ST? If so what upgrades should I get? Thanks.

Get an ST lol, I should take a leaf out of my own book really but I Can get my car as fast, if not faster than a ST for about 12-13000 less

12-13k? You could get an 800cc Daewoo Matiz faster than an ST for that, using the original engine and getting an F1 team to design and build it :P

Thing is you can always get up to an ST in power, but the ST with the same money put in will be a lot quicker.

Seeing as you can pick up an ST for about £9000, how's that work?
