Woodywoodster
Hi. I have a 52 plate 1.9tdi Galaxy and the left indicator will not flash, it will only light up all left side bulbs and the light on the dashboard. It stays lit even when he stalk has clicked back up. The only way to get the lights to go out is to have the right indicator on! When the indicator is on, you can very faintly hear the 'tick tock' noise. I've been told it could be the relay in the fuse box (not sure how this works as the indicators aren't on a relay!) or it could be the stalk itself. Any suggestions please?! SeanW
Sounds like an earthing problem. Clean up all the contacts on the light loom

The left and right indicator relays are internal components of the fuse box, as is the flasher control circuitry. I think you need a replacement fuse box. gregers
also worth checking the fuse board in the engine bay. you also have a pm.
SeanW
Before diving in and changing fuse boards, go for the cheaper option and check the earths. Used to be a very common fault on the Mk2 Punto rear light clusters
