stevemrsys
Guidance please. Fiesta 1.3 2000 model. Indicators & hazards stopped working. I checked the fuses, O.K. So bought & replaced the flasher unit on the steering column and made no difference. Am I missing something? I had assumed that it could only be one of these two things? stevemrsys
Mark, I can only assume so, I don't think they would all have gone at once, and even if so would assume there would still be a 'ticking' from the flasher unit.

MONDEO TXS 2.2
Mark, O.K. I will give that a go Thank you for your response Let us know if there is power or not at the bulbholders as that knowledge dictates the next step in diagnosis
Dan62
Check the flasher units earth point is good and clean. You will find it under the carpet at the base of the A pillar, drivers side. (hinged part of the door frame). There should be 2 earth points around this area and its the one towards the front of the car.
stevemrsys
"Too much time on the boards", thank you, I'll give that a go. Certainly out of ideas myself, having replaced the new (cheap) flasher unit with another one from a breakers yard, and that having made no difference. stevemrsys
Gentlemen, thank you all for your pointers but in the end took it to a local garage. It was the indicator arm assembly that needed to be replaced (overall cost around £140 so not a killer). Surprised me as I would not have assumed that this would have knocked out the hazard flashers as well, but apparently so.
