What Is The Biggest Engine?

I've got a 2005 ford ka and the clutch is now completely gone on the engine and as much as I think I should just replace it to be honest if I'm going to pull the engine out to change the clutch I may aswell just swap it out for something with some actual poke.

It's going to be used on the track so I would like something fun and sporty.

I know Puma engines are common but are there any other swaps that don't need a lot of messing about to get in?

A little Fiesta 1 litre ecoboost maybe? I know they're tiny so maybe worth doing some research

Easiest is the 1.6 street ka engine I would imagine

Thanks, starting to look around for engines, want something with a bit more poke without having to mess around too much getting it in and going!

Our son-in-law has a KA and he's slotted a 2.0 litre into it. Roll cage, the lot. Said he was going to try it round Oulton Park, but too busy at the moment. I'll find out a bit more and let you know.

I haven't forgotten about your query. Son-in-law has been away for a few days and he will be back later to-day.

Had a word with Son-in-law.

V6

2.0 L Zetec engine. Mounting frame required.

Front brakes are Mondeo V6 Caliper and rears are Focus 2.0 discs ( could be ST) dual cyl system

Custom Roll Cage. FIA approved.

I hope this helps.

Amazing thanks!

Good idea for the brakes too that was my next thought more power will need more stopping power.
