RAbel Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Hi, I have a Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6, 2008. It sometimes starts fine but other times it starts then cuts out, my boyfriend has had to jump start the car twice in the past 2 weeks as it wouldn't start at all. On Sunday it started fine, I turned on the heated windscreen & it cut out. Tried turning it on again but it was dead. When I do start the car now I don't have any of the electrics turned on (lights, radio, fans etc). Does anyone have any clue's as to what could be causing this & what I need to do to fix it? jb72510 Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 It sounds as though its a battery related issue as above, however in more serious cases it could be that the alternator isn't charging the battery properly so this is something to check if the battery is okay.
