Picked up my Titanium Ecoboost 125 today

Travelled up to Bristol Street motors in Gloucestershire today to collect my 64 plate titanium fiesta. I was a little disappointed that one of the extras I specifically asked for was missing, that was the keyless start. I was used to it on my BMW and really wanted it on this car. I suppose the extra 3 years warranty thrown in for nothing was a good compromise

The 80 mile drive home was good, it was nippier than I thought and cruising at around 80 was no problems and returning around 45 mpg as well. 5th gear seems high though which brings the revs right down but then to accelerate it seems to not have enough torque for a nippy pass. I know it's only a 1litre so it can be expected.

One of the first things I have done is order a Bluefin, that should be with me on Tuesday at sometime. I'll be able to install it on Wednesday and see what the difference is. Going by other people's reports I should be impressed with the extra torque.

Anyway so far so good with this little car.

I had a 3 series before the Fez and the tall gearing takes time to get used to.
Its only ticking over at 70 @ 2500rpm in fifth, the only way to get a move on is to slam it in 3rd.
