Dawkins566
I've had my tyres changed not to long ago and don't know whether or not my TPMS was removed is there a easy way of checking? As I'm currently away in Germany and my dad has my car.
btmaldon
Are you sure you have TPMS and DDS? I would have thought it would show an error if the sensors were removed from the wheels. TPMS has metal valves. DDS works from the ABS system so isn't affected.
Dawkins566
Ye I have TPMS, was just wondering as I'm not in the UK right now. Atleast I now know that if they were removed it would show on the dashboard.
Barbez
You should have a warning on the system if not you should be good buddy, check the valves
tazzman600
My titanium x focus has TPMS and the valves are rubber. The tit x sport mondeo I had had TPMS but it had metal valves.
goldtail77
Digging this thread up, rather than start a new one. I have a set of 16", originally Mk3 Mondeo wheels, that I use as winter wheels. Used them on my MK3 Focus, with corresponding TPMS error. Which I naughtily disabled in Focccus. Now I have a MK3.5 Focus and Winter is Coming. Elmconfig and Focccus doesn't work due to security. Forscan does but has no settings change ability. I really don't want to spend £200 on sensors plus fitting, any ideas?
